Unprofessional behavior such as accepting several extended phone calls during the tour, or checking his phone for a long time mid-sentence. Almost incomprehensible: I understand that English is not his first language but he spoke very fast. That, combined with his pronunciation, made circa 70 percent of what he said incomprehensible to us (and, based on conversation, most of the other walkers). Uncontextualized, unhelpful information: Most of what he said (to the extent I was able to understand it) was just a rattling-down of uncontextualized facts. It’d be more interesting to provide historical/political context to the names of people and places Other gurus I’ve met have done an excellent job with that. Also, the tour was very slow. We managed to visit roughly 3 buildings in 3 hours. All in all, not a great experience. We left early (after 3 out of the announced 4 hours) because we were frustrated.
