Went on a tour of Athens with George, and it was a great experience. George was incredibly knowledgeable and made his tour both informational and engaging, weaving history with mythology into an accessible storytelling format. We also had a large group and he somehow made it still feel small and personable.
Went on a tour of Sintra with Cristina, and it was a great experience. She made the tour really informative and engaging; she also added so many personal touches and stories from her own childhood in Sintra. Also, her recommendations for food, lookouts, transportation, and activities in the area were all great!
Went on a tour of Lisbon with Toby, and it was a great experience. Toby was incredibly knowledgeable and made his tour both informational and engaging. My husband and I have been traveling in Europe for about 6 months now; we've done a tour of most major cities we've visited (London, Berlin, Paris, Athens, Amsterdam, Prague, etc) and this was the best historical tour we've ever been on so far!
