I chose to live in Japan my whole life because of the people that live here. They make me grateful to be able to live here. Everyday is another adventure for me. Over 25 Japanese companies, lived in 6 different prefectures (Osaka, Tokyo, Nara, Kobe, Saitama, and Ehime). My goal is for travelers to live in Japan long-term to experience the excitement, gratitude and joy I feel everyday. You can catch me lifting weights everyday.
This was my favorite city walking tour to date! Scott did an incredible job weaving pertinent historical events into the day-to-day life and culture of Tokyo. His clear explanations and contagious enthusiasm for the city truly stood out, and his recommendations were consistently spot-on. He also took the time to teach us key everyday phrases and how to respect local cultural norms. On top of that, he has a real talent for connecting travelers with shared interests and backgrounds—I ended up connecting with someone attending the same conference thanks to him! I can’t recommend this tour highly enough!!!
