I chose to live in Japan my whole life because of the people that live here. They make me grateful to be able to live here. Everyday is another adventure for me. Over 25 Japanese companies, lived in 6 different prefectures (Osaka, Tokyo, Nara, Kobe, Saitama, and Ehime). My goal is for travelers to live in Japan long-term to experience the excitement, gratitude and joy I feel everyday. You can catch me lifting weights everyday.
Hands down the BEST decision we made to start our Tokyo trip! Scott was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and gave us amazing historical context. We followed his recommendations for the rest of our travels and were never disappointed once. Absolute must-book!
I made a really wise decision choosing this tour because I understood Tokyo better afterwards. I saw the city’s history instead of just listening, the hidden alleys and their meaning which gave a beautiful context of what is Tokyo. We tasted sake, saw the small izakayas, learnt history of knives coming from the samurais. Plus, Scott is a really seasoned communicator who knows what he is talking about, and will also teach you some Japanese :)
Great tour to just get to know Tokyo, a little history and some key spots. Scott knows some good short cuts too which help save tired feet
