Your standard tour. Last summer I attended another tour which I found ok, with maybe 2 sentences that I didn't know (I did an amazing job reserching history and gems, so I knew practically everything she talked about). This time I decided to join this company hoping it was going to be better. I understand the time costraints (2h vs 2:30h), but I did miss mentions of historic palazzi / theatre that the other tour mentioned / that I had researched. In the end, the tour is what you expect from a free walking tour: a good introduction of Verona, but not an amazing tour that leaves you hanging for more / brimming with excitement.
Giuliano likes people. However, his story telling about Italian families in Verona is difficult to follow for any non-Italian-person. Our tour was in English, but his English is limited, not more, sorry. One third of the group and more left during our walk and he seemed not to care. We should have done also, lessons learned.
An excellent tour of all the main sights of Siena. From a lovely, entertaining and engaging guide. 5 stars!
