I'm from Mexico but live in the UK. Love traveling, meeting new people and places, trying new food and learning new languages
Ok, let's face it. Jakarta is not the most picturesque city. But it's the buoyant home of millions of people and, in a way, the heart of the country, full of history. Kenya was able to show us a little glimpse of that. From public transport rides, fruit markets and religious centres, we were able to experience what this city is like and what it feels to live in it. She was friendly, knowledgeable, engaging and funny. If you're looking for a picture perfect tour, this is not it (because the city doesn't really have it) but if you're looking to go deep into understanding why the country is what it is today and what life looks like, she's the one to do it.
The tour was fun and the guide tried very hard. It just seems Nairobi city centre isn't the most interesting place to visit. But Kenya is fabulous.
Great tour guide, very interesting stops and recommendations.
