Holder of a Bachelor's of English Language and Literature, I had many professional experiences in Tourism industry before I
was certified as an official tour guide by the Tunisian Ministry of Tourism in 2011.
During the past decade, my freelance activities have led me from one fascinating experience to the next — from working as a translator and guide to hosting official guests like foreign MP's and corporate leaders . I have got a very good knowledge of Mediterranean history and culture, but above all exceptional communication skills and a pleasure to share my knowledge and my passion for history.
My areas of expertise include cultural history, art, architecture, archaeology, culinary arts and photography. I speak English, French, Italian and Arabic.
I take guests to undiscovered neighborhoods, historical areas, streets, restaurants and bring them along on a treasure hunt of local food , art and music in Tunis. I am a lover of Tunisia , i have a desire to know more about our history our culture our language our arts and especially our food .I feel so happy to share this desire with others .. « we are created different to know more ».
It was good, the start and ending was a bit rocky, and wasn't communicated clearly, but maybe it's awkward to do so, anyway I loved the carthage site and being led by a tour guide was definitely helpful.
I arrived 20 mins earlier and sent a message 10 minutes prior to the meeting time of my location, I went online constantly to see if any messages had come through but none had, inwas co standby looking around and saw no one. I waited 10 minutes after but still nothing. A waste of a trip!!
Ahmed is a great tour guide. He is a local from Tunis. Well informed and educated in the fascinating history of Tunisia and the role of Tunisian Muslims in the world. We really enjoyed the tour and the fascinating history of Tunisia. I highly recommend a walking tour with Ahmed.
We had a great tour with Ahmed! It was really enjoyable, despite the heat! He was brilliant communicating with us before the tour started. He was really knowledgeable and gave us a lot of details about the area. Would definitely recommend!
