Holder of a Bachelor's of English Language and Literature, I had many professional experiences in Tourism industry before I
was certified as an official tour guide by the Tunisian Ministry of Tourism in 2011.
During the past decade, my freelance activities have led me from one fascinating experience to the next — from working as a translator and guide to hosting official guests like foreign MP's and corporate leaders . I have got a very good knowledge of Mediterranean history and culture, but above all exceptional communication skills and a pleasure to share my knowledge and my passion for history.
My areas of expertise include cultural history, art, architecture, archaeology, culinary arts and photography. I speak English, French, Italian and Arabic.
I take guests to undiscovered neighborhoods, historical areas, streets, restaurants and bring them along on a treasure hunt of local food , art and music in Tunis. I am a lover of Tunisia , i have a desire to know more about our history our culture our language our arts and especially our food .I feel so happy to share this desire with others .. « we are created different to know more ».
Nice tour with a knowledgeable Tunisian. Really appreciated the history.
Ahmed was very knowledgeable and super friendly. We felt fortunate to have him guide us. Without him we wouldn't have understood what we were seeing. We had our 2 kids with us (aged 12 and 3) and he interacted with them and kept them involved. Thanks Ahmed.
Absolutely unprofessional. I reached the meeting point. Since the guide was not there, I messaged to know his whereabouts. The said that the tour had been cancelled as the minimum number of guests were not met. The least he could have done is let me know the evening prior or even the same morning as I could have made alternate plans. Carthage has so much to offer and one must visit with a guide to ensure they get value from the visit. As long as that guide is not Ahmad, has he will leave you high and dry. Thoroughly disappointed!!
Ahmed was a good guide. Gave lots of information about the medina and several of us also booked a tour with him for the following day.
