Konnichiwa! Sono Ryo, la vostra guida locale. Sono nato e cresciuto a Tokyo. Mi sono diplomato alla Shinjuku Public High School, a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Shinjuku, e poi ho frequentato l'Università Waseda, a circa 30 minuti a piedi dalla stessa stazione. Vivevo nel quartiere di Kabukicho e lavoravo per una casa di produzione cinematografica nel quartiere gay di Shinjuku Nichome. Ho esperienza diretta di frequentazione di molti degli istituti di cui parleremo durante il tour. Attualmente, lavoro come insegnante di inglese in una scuola di preparazione intensiva durante il giorno, insegnando sia a studenti delle scuole superiori che a neolaureati.
It was a long tour but we enjoyed every minute of it. Ryo has lots of stories and experiences to share and it really opened up our eyes to the darker side of the Japan!
Ryo gives an incredibly thorough and incredibly honest tour of very interesting districts with so many personal stories. More than I would share about myself with visitors, but grateful for his willingness to make us feel a part of the place. Highly recommend this i very unique tour.
Very cool way to discover the area, learn its secrets, and hear about first hand experience of the district. Not for shy people though! Come open minded and ready to have fun
We had the best time with Ryo in Shinjuku
Most enjoyable walking tour we’ve had in years!! Ryo is entertaining, honest and à fast walker!! We saw sides of Tokyo we didn’t know existed and learnt a huge amount about the Japanese culture. This tour can be a bit explicit, but Ryo is charming and polite and respectful the whole way. Just be ready to be surprised by how honest his stories are. But we loved it. Thank you Ryo.
