The setting was beautifully picturesque—a genuinely authentic experience you won't find on a mass-market travel channel. His tour was a blessing; it saved us after two nights of aimlessly wandering Thamel, constantly trying to avoid persistent hawkers, chaotic motorbike traffic, and aggressive touts.
