33 year old Dubliner who has called Porto home for the best part of 12 years. While studying Spanish and Portuguese in University, I chose Porto as my year abroad and instantly fell in love with the city. I have been working as a tour guide for nearly 9 years with a strong passion for history, politics and food, which I hope to convey on my tours. I also love football but I try to avoid too much of that on my tours!

Messaged the guide an hour before meeting on the application chat to confirm we were taking the walking tour despite the bad weather. Arrived 10 mins early at the correct meeting point. Waited until 10 mins after the agreed meeting time and messaged guru again to say we were waiting for him. 15 mins after the arranged meeting messaged him to say we wouldn't wait any longer. We had spent 25 mins waiting at the meeting point. We had no replies to any messages from the guide.

He was responsive to our interests and also knows Portuguese history very well. He also knows a lot about a number of other countries and uses that to make you feel even more comfortable with him.
