35 year old Dubliner who has called Porto home for the best part of 14 years. While studying Spanish and Portuguese in University, I chose Porto as my year abroad and instantly fell in love with the city. I have been working as a tour guide for nearly 10 years with a strong passion for history, politics and food, which I hope to convey on my tours. I also love football but I try to avoid too much of that on my tours!
We booked this tour because we felt a bit lost about how we feel about Porto and wanted to understand the city better, it exceeded our expectations. Caoimhín is very knowledgeable, and because it was only us and him, it felt like a private tour. Really informative and enjoyable. Highly recommend.
It was by far the best walking tour I’ve ever done. He’s a great storyteller and blended his knowledge of the city with the country’s history really smoothly. The places he chose all made sense and fit together well. He also has a nice, authentic sense of humor! Super entertaining and rewarding overall. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Porto.
