One of the best tours & tour guides we ever had. Pedro was from La Boca himself which proved really helpful: not only did he know firsthand about the barrio but he seemed to know everyone we met there: local people, kids and even dogs. He loves his barrio and was able to make us its fans as well. He was friendly, knowledgeable and humble at the same time. He even apologized for the tour getting a bit longer though it was not his fault (some participants were “tired” and had to order water and beers at some places while the rest of us were waiting for them 🙈). He was the first guru in our experience who didn’t even remind us to pay at the end 😀. We absolutely recommend to book with Pedro (and make sure you tip him properly).
Great tour and lots of valuable information on history and politics of Argentina. Maru is an amazing guide: knowledgeable and able to convey most relevant info in a nutshell yet enough to understand and make us want to learn more. She is passionate about her city and country and was fun to spend time with. Thanks a lot, Maru !
