Since 2022 I started 'Collected Stories', my own very little cute conceptstore in the historic centre of Gouda. It is located in one of the smallest Canal houses of Gouda! In my conceptstore I combine two things. I sell handmade gifts (locally made) and I walk with people through the lovely old city centre. If you like to start with a drink and bite (view on the Gouwe river) and walk with a local through the beautiful town of Gouda? Then come to Collected Stories!
Suzanne was such a lovely person to spend the afternoon with on our first visit to Gouda. It really felt like we made a friend by the end of our time together. Gouda is a such a charming town, which Suzanne really highlighted for us. We hated when our time came to an end, as we just loved her company and could have hung out all day! We hope our paths cross again, Suzanne, it was such a pleasure!
Suzanne is wonderful. You start the tour at her shop surrounded by art and getting so much incredible context on Gouda's history and life there. And then she is so entertaining and enthusiastic in every step of the tours. LOVED it and would recommend to everyone.
The guide was great with information about the city. It was nice to see parts of the city we wouldn't normally seek out. Her quirky style made it a memorable and quite enjoable experience. Would highly recommend to others.
Suzanne was very warm and personable. The tour started with a nice tea and snack. We took a good tour around the crown and got lots of detailed information. She does a great job tailoring the tour and pointing out things you'll be interested in. We got a nice history of the space and a wonderful tour. Thank you Suzanne!
