We are the Wallys and we have been enjoying showing the secrets of the city to friends from all over the world, ages, political and poetic visions for more than 10 years.
We are a team of fans of the city, of street art, history and curious facts about our neighborhoods.
We have received official awards, such as the most innovative tourist company in Chile and awards from friends, pets and ex-boyfriends, but that is another matter. We have a good time and we are professionals in what we do.
Why are we the best tour in the city? Well, ask your hotel/hostel for the Wallis from Tours4Tips :)
This tour was excellent in so many ways: our route through the markets with so much explanation and a sample, the information about the life of a Chilean person, and finally the tour of the graveyard with so many details about people and places in there.
Rae was a wonderful guide! She presented so much information as she took us to the market, on the metro, and to the Cemetary. Her style is extremely pleasant, helpful, and informative. She bought us all a treat at the market and made sure each us knew the route to take in the metro at the end of the tour. Make sure to bring about 1600 pesos per person to use the metro.
This is a tour worth taking as you learn a lot about the history of Chile and human rights violations. You don’t learn much about buildings or landmarks but a few. Taking the metro (have a 1000 pesos per person) which is part of the tour was useful - not so much for the destination but to learn how to use it. The guide was open to all questions about Chilean life.
Was unable to take this tour as I was the only person to show up however the guide was lovely and gave me some tips and suggestions on places to visit on my own which I appreciated.
Very good, very knowledgeable, patient and answered all questions well.
