I have had the privilege of living in Colombia, Mexico, and Argentina, which has enriched my understanding of diverse cultures and histories. My travels have taken me to the USA, Brazil, Panama, Cuba, Chile, France, Italy, Uruguay, Paraguay, Spain and Trinidad and Tobago, each journey adding a unique layer to my passion for exploration.
Traveling is not just a hobby for me; it’s a way of life. I love sharing my experiences and learning about the cultures of the places I visit. In particular, I am passionate about Colombia, a country with a rich history and vibrant culture. I enjoy uncovering and explaining the fascinating stories and milestones of Santa Marta and its surroundings, ensuring that every visitor leaves with a deep appreciation for this wonderful city.
Oh, and you’ll almost always see me wearing a cap or a hat to protect my bald head from the sun! It’s my signature look and a testament to my dedication to staying cool and sunburn-free while showing you around.
Cesar was super cheerful, pleasant and helpful (as I had a burn from motorbike). Talking about the tour he provided a lot of interesting information about Santa Marta, Simon Bolivar and other prominent Colombian figures. Tour passed very quickly, because it was interesting, logical and amusing! Thank you Cesar, you really made me learn more about Colombia and Santa Marta!
I was the only person on this tour of Santa Marta with Cesar but he made me feel comfortable from the start. He was very knowledgeable about the local area, history and people and communicated very well in English. An unexpected bonus was a guided tour of the gold museum which I found fascinating. At the end of the tour Cesar helped me find a cafe on the seafront which serves great Colombian coffee and which I visited a few times over the next couple of days. All in all a positive experience and a great way to get my bearings in a new city.
The guide never arrived and did not communicate that he would not be able to take the tour!
