L’aspetto interessante è stato proprio averlo visitato con una persona del luogo molto preparata e attenta. Consigliatissimo.

I had an awesome time with Keine! He took me around Palenque and explained lots of interesting things. He was very professional and gave me advice for how to best arrive in the town as well. We spoke mostly Spanish but when I was missing vocabulary we used English as needed. It was also very interesting to hear about all the language revival, sport, music and other education programs in Palenque some organised by Keine himself. Very happy in my experience and would 100% reccomend for others if you are coming this way :)

Keiner is not just a local guide. He is a local and a guide. There is no better way go understant Palenque than through the eyes of someone that was born, raised, lives and creates in the town. Deacovering the history and culture of Palenque with Keiner must not be missed. Totaly recommented.

This tour was very unique and nothing compared to other walking tours. We passed some stops where locals explain about their way of life, medicine and music. We enjoyed the tour a lot even though Luis himself doesn't speak much English. He is however from the community and will find someone who can take over the tour or translate if you have problems understanding. The expected price per person is 50k COP which we consider a fair price. Luis even dropped us with his moto to catch the bus back to Cartagena. We recommend!

My husband and I are forever touched by this amazingly personal, informative, and professional tour. Luis, our guide, crafted an incredible experience that brought us closer to his roots and let us learn about his culture and the history of Palenque. We loved the stories, the music, the food, and our brief boxing lesson. However, most of all, we appreciate and admire Luis and his dedication to his community and us, the guests. This is a tour that every person visiting Colombia has to take!

An outstanding experience from start to finish! Keiner went far beyond to show us his culture, the history of his community, and local traditions. He showed us the whole village, including stops with other members of the community along the way, and took us to a delicious place to eat. At night, we stayed in Palenque, and he invited us to celebrate San Sebastian with the whole village, the water celebration that was happening at this moment and was an amazing evening! We felt so included and grateful for this journey and gained a new friend as well as an unforgettable experience. We would recommend Palenque and Keiner’s tour to anyone blindly!!

Gracias por permitir que un sueño se hiciera realizara‚ Neudis es muy atento, nos ayudó con indicaciones para llegar y para el transporte, nos contactó en cuanto hicimos la reserva. El recorrido es muy completo y tranquilo, nos dio tiempo en cada parte para hacer preguntas e interactuar con la comunidad. Neudis nos dio una excelente instrucción a su cultura, resaltado la vivencia de escuchar su lengua nativa y la interacción entre la comunidad, así mismo exalto el sentido de pertenencia que tiene por sus raíces y conocimientos ancestrales.

Keiner was great! With enthusiasm and deep knowledge, he entertained us along our tour of Palenque. He reached out over text before we arrived, so we knew how to find him easily. He prearranged a delicious local lunch and guided us to a variety of interesting stops. He easily answered all of our questions and we all learned so much about Palenque. Keiner obviously cares deeply about his community and wants to share its rich history with outsiders. He made a great tour guide! Wear sun screen and bring small bills for tips you might want to share along the tour.
