What a way to end my time in Morocco! Mohamed offers an insightful 2 hour guided tour in the bustling Marrakesh. The tour itself is well structured and highlights some of the main points to see in Marrakesh. It was my second time in Marrakesh and I was pleasantly surprised that I saw places I haven’t been to before. Also the free visit to the Musée de l'Art Culinaire Marocain was lovely - it gave us a chance to see some of the most well-known culinary dishes and their history. Abderrahime gave the best Guru Walk I’ve ever done. Within three hours he managed to tell us interesting facts about Fes and Moroccan culture, while giving us room to ask questions and take enough pictures. He’s very good at storytelling, which comes as no surprise he was a former teacher. The tour also includes a hear piece - which was very appreciated while walking in the busy Fes Medina. We also visited main attractions such as Chouara Tannery, and had plenty of time to browse around and do some shopping. Thank you so much for this tour! 🫶🏾☺️
Youssef offers a very nice tour in Rabat. You get a chance to stroll around the medina at night while hearing the history of the city. It is clear Youssef is proud of his city and has been doing these tours for a while, as we walk in several places he knew the store owners and employees, which came in handy as we were treated to a taste of Moroccan goods such as cookies. In the end of the tour we ended up going to a lovely restaurant! Thank you Youssef for your kindness!
Yahya offers the most completed GuruWalk I’ve ever done. For 3+ hours we walked around Casablanca and visited the most significant sightseeing the city has to offer. Yahya divided the tour in a logical order (between new and old Casablanca), told fascinating facts about the city and Moroccan culture and gave us time to ask our questions and take pictures. The guide has a fantastic sense of humour and clearly enjoys what he does. He also made sure we’re okay throughout the tour - doing plenty of stops to rest, offering water and have a bit of a local snack. I’m very happy with the outcome of this tour - as I only had a few days in Casablanca and ended up getting to know so much more than I initially expected.
