Hello! I'm Belén — welcome to my profile! I'm the creator of UnBoliviable, a project born to share the best of Bolivia through authentic and meaningful experiences. I'm a proud Bolivian living in La Paz, with a degree in Tourism and a deep passion for culture, travel, music, and books. I'm absolutely in love with my city and everything it has to offer: from its vibrant streets to its traditions and hidden corners. I speak Spanish and English fluently, and I'm currently learning French and German. I'd love to show you my city like only a local can!
Belen is an amazing guide. She is a local and knows all the hidden spots. We visited a place that is usually off limits for tourists and we learnt a lot about the culture, history and current situation of the city. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants/bars/hikes..., took us to teleferico, so we covered a lot of ground and even sent us detailed instructions on how to reach other spots. I can only recommend her tour to anyone looking to experience La Paz like a local.
I would give 10 stars, if I could! It was the most informative, interesting, surprising, insightful and fun free walking tour we have ever attended! Belén is super passionate about tourism off the beaten path, so you'll see lots of very interesting places, that you would not even read about as a tourist. Plus, her English is one of the best we have encountered throughout South America. They accept a maximum group size of 5 people, which is fantastic for these tours. She was not only able to answer all of our questions (be it historical, political, cultural etc.), but she actively encourages questions. It was the absolute best tour and I can highly recommend it to anyone!

The tour was really interesting and informative, Belén took her time to answer all questions and gave some really nice insights into the bolivian lifestyle and politics. Strongly recommended! :)
