Hello! We are Moira and Maria, creators, English and art teachers. Welcome to our Andanzas project, an artistic-cultural guided tour in Valparaíso. ♡ ☆ We are also travelers and we continue learning about history, society, culture and diverse human expressions. ♧ We are locals from Valparaíso, a city where we reside at the top of the hills. ♤ We have a lot of historical and cultural information to share with you. ◇ We have a beautiful track record and great customer reviews. ♡ We focus on generating awareness, reflection and fun during the tours. ★ We are friends of local artists and artisans, attentive to children and open to diversity, in our guided tours we care about the well-being and cultural exchange with each participant. ♡ We want to provide human, deep and memorable experiences. ◇ We speak fluent English and Portuguese. ♧ We are learning to recognize the plants of the city.
Maria was fantastic! We had so much fun seeing beautiful murals and meeting artists. She is a real treasure and entertained and connected well with our whole family of 5. Don’t miss out on this experience!
Moria was a delight We had a lovely relaxed walk coving many areas we would never have found ourselves Moria had a lot of local knowledge about all the murals and history of the town Highly recommend this walk
Moira guided me through the artistics neighbourhoods of Valparaiso and could explain a lot about the local street art scene. In addition we walked into some galeries where we had a talk with local artists that explained how they make their work. Was very casual and no focus on buying anything, just very informative and nice conversations. I was the only one in the tour so was able to ask a lot of questions which made it very interactive as well. Afterwards Moira gave a tip of an empanada places where we even ate a bit. Before I went back to my hostel she gave me some extra tips for the stay in Valparaiso which was also very much appreciated. Would definetely advise if you like a low-key informal tour with a lot of information of the local artistic scene.
El tour ha sido sensacional. Valparaíso hay que abordarlo desde dos perspectivas, la de la belleza evidente de la ciudad y la dimensión artística que da sentido a esa belleza. Y Moira ha sabido juntar ambas perspectivas a la perfección porque forma parte de ese mundo tan fascinante. Ir a Valparaíso y no pasear con ellas es casi como no haber estado del todo en Valparaíso.
