Dr. Sib was amazing! His knowledge of the Blue Mosque, his experience, and his ability to entertain and inform with such passion for the complex topics of Islam and Christianity was fabulous. He is also friendly, funny, and happy to interweave his life experiences with the wider narratives of religion and life in Istanbul and Türkiye. Dr. Sib is in my opinion a truly exceptional guide and a really nice guy too. He also guided us for longer than he advertises, which I think delighted everyone on the tour. He knows the staff at the Blue Mosque also, which made getting in and out really easy. In addition, he showed us to an Islamic Learning Centre less than 100m away, and the gentleman there provided free materials for us about Islam more generally, in a really nice, open and friendly way.
