Wir hatten eine ausgezeichnete Führung in einer kleinen Gruppe zu siebt. Begonnen haben wir mit einer Zugfahrt zum Stand, wo wir mehrere köstliche, vegetarischeKleinigkeiten probiert haben. Anschließend ging es in ein muslimische Viertel, wo es frittiertes Hähnchen zum Essen gab. Geendet hat die wunderschöne Tour beim fantastischen Eisladen des Taj-Icecream-Wallas, dessen Laden schon seit 1887 existiert.
We had a wonderful, almost private walking tour with our fantastic guide, Siddesh. Thanks to the off-season, it felt like a truly personal experience, as there were only three of us. Despite his young age, Siddesh shared deep insights into Dharavi — its daily life, hardworking families, and diverse small businesses. The tour was both informative and adventurous, giving us a glimpse into a place we could never have explored on our own. It offered a meaningful perspective on how Mumbai functions through the efforts of all its residents.
