I was born and raised in the DC area, and have been a licensed tour guide since 2022. I love history, travel, and meeting other people, and showing my hometown to visitors!
The tour is good if you want a baseline knowledge of the key sights. I would say you could probably do them yourself and get the main facts.
Lisa was a great walking guru guide. She showed us all the important spots and also had a nice sense of humour. She could have spoken a bit louder and she shared a lot of information about the monuments.
