We are a group of friends and official guides from Istanbul. We are in love with our city and we would like to share it with you. I enjoyed the time doing the tour and learnt new things about the city and Turkish culture. The tour guide was entertaining and informative and he even invited us to Turkish delights and tea after the tour. The recommendations about restaurants and hammams were also greatly appreciated.
Free Istanbul tours unfortunately had to cancel my tour. They were very clear in the tour description that they needed a minimum amount of people and as I'm here in the off season it wasn't really a surprise. They reached out the night before to tell me that there my be a chance that it was going to be canceled. This is great customer service and I hope to take another tour with them in the future.
This is really an excellent tour and a nice complement to the historical ones. Mohammed was an excellent guide sharing lots of information, perspective and reflections on his own experiences as a resident of Istanbul.
