He was amazing. He spoke about the history of Arequipa with so much passion and was able to make us laugh a lot along the way. He was so knowledgeable had a quick witty sense of humour. He showed us great places to eat and we got to sample some local snacks and drinks. He ended the tour on the most spectacular rooftop with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. I can not recommend this tour enough or Michael.

It was a fine tour. Some of the members of my tour talked over the guide quite a bit and it felt uncomfortable. We saw some nice spots and Joan made good restaurant recommendations.
Joan gave us the greatest tour with plenty of beautiful views and history combined. He took us to many viewpoints of the city and knew how to get the best photos. Also offered several recommendations for food around the city or activities for those interested
