Marine hosted a very interesting and enjoyable city tour. This tour is good if you would like to find out more about the city in a close proximity. (The walking was about 2.5km total.) However, there is a lot to learn in 2 hours and Marine kept us all engaged and offered helpful food and drink recommendations.
Disappointed. Our tour of Lille was cancelled twice, once due to low numbers then on the rearranged date due to illness. We did receive a message with some suggestions of things to visit which was positive. Of course such things can happen in any service organisation, but it would have been nice if something else had been offered, eg a discount on an official tour or even a free drink in a bar. I hope our experience is rare.
