Such a great host! Did amazing having the tour in two languages! She’s fluent English speaker and of course Spanish! Recommendations were awesome, she’s really prepared for the tour and has many options to choose from! Even after visiting really good places she also gave us advice for other local places to find exactly what we were looking for. Thank you very much for having us! Keep the great work! ✨
Lupita was a fantastic tour guide! The locations we visited were places along the route she used to walk with her grandmother as a child. Her love of food, warm personality, and intimate knowledge of Oaxaca made for a wonderful day!
Being my first visit to Oaxaca I didn’t know what to expect of Oaxacan cuisine but knew there was a lot to explore. The 3 hour tour with Lupita which took us through Benito Juarez and 20 Noviembre markets and some stores nearby was an amazing introduction. Not only was every stop a hit but Lupita’s knowledge of Oaxacan food culture made it an all round immersive experience. Unfortunately due to the tour being a Wednesday there was no street food stalls for us to try but the markets provided enough variety. We even got to do a mezcal and chocolate tasting. My favourite part of the tour was the meal we shared in the Smokey Corridoor which I would have had no idea how to order or navigate without the help of Lupita who gave us a a true local eating experience.
This tour was wonderful! We should have skipped breakfast before, but everything was delicious. It was so nice to have Lupita help us figure out what to order, and she even accommodated for my husbands lactose intolerance by picking a place with sorbets and having something else with lactose free milk. This was such a wonderful first taste of Oaxaca - highly recommend!
We did this tour with the lovely and very knowledgable Lupita with two others Learnt more than we expected about Oaxacan food and history and tried food we did not previously know from food market and street stalls Also tried mezcal and chocolate places which were great Thank you for the experience It will make the rest of our Mexican visit much more adventurous
