I am a local Shanghainese, staying with my hometown for 30 years. My overriding impression of Shanghai is the Dramatic Life Changes since the reform& opening-up. I am always curious about how Shanghai be the Shanghai like today. So i started my research these years,visiting other big cities to find the similarity, like Tokyo/Paris/Copenhagen/Sydney/Vancouver, searching the Shanghai’s history recorded in literature by the authors from all over the world, chating with the old generations in family for past memory.
