I am a local Shanghainese, staying with my hometown for 30 years. My overriding impression of Shanghai is the Dramatic Life Changes since the reform& opening-up.
I am always curious about how Shanghai be the Shanghai like today. So i started my research these years,visiting other big cities to find the similarity, like Tokyo/Paris/Copenhagen/Sydney/Vancouver,
searching the Shanghai’s history recorded in literature by the authors from all over the world, chating with the old generations in family for past memory.

It was a surprise to join Alexis's Cold War tour. If truth to be told, it's the best city tour I've ever experienced! Actually we are getting bored with museums in Berlin, either too scattered or lack of readability. In contrast, what we got from Alexis' tour is a complete narrative about history of cold was , a clear explanation on specific spots which illustrate the fact.I can feel that he prepared a lot not only about the information but also how audiences can effectively follow him with the help of photos, pdf, videos, acting... Alexis is an interesting, responsible and passionate guide, rich in history knowledge and sentiment towards human being. Highly recommend the tour and he won't let you down!
Irais was our guide by then .She is an adorable and informative guide to the newcomer of Helskinki. She demonstrated her presentation with pictures and candies which helped us to feel the city in various way. She gave the clear introduction on each spot and give us some free minutes to take photo&self discover.Hope to see her next time!
I followed Magnus on the second week of June when the first time come to Copenhagen. It was my second Guru walk and i felt exited about the trip. And the experience is much better than i imagined. Magnus was stand-up comedy performcer as well so his way of expression is really humous and attractive. And the topic around the historic spots was appealing. If i have to give one suggestion ,may i ask to slow down the talking speed. Otherwise, perfect!!I really have a positive impression because of Magus walk!
