I am a local Shanghainese, staying with my hometown for 30 years. My overriding impression of Shanghai is the Dramatic Life Changes since the reform& opening-up.
I am always curious about how Shanghai be the Shanghai like today. So i started my research these years,visiting other big cities to find the similarity, like Tokyo/Paris/Copenhagen/Sydney/Vancouver,
searching the Shanghai’s history recorded in literature by the authors from all over the world, chating with the old generations in family for past memory.

I had intended to do a review earlier as it has been 6 months now since the tour. I truly enjoyed my time walking around with Marine. She was very engaging, thoughtful, and I finished the tour with a better understanding of Shanghai’s history and culture. Thank you Marine and all the best.
Resultó ser un tour privado porque el otro grupo canceló su participación. A pesar de ello, Marine nos animó a hacer el tour y fue una gran decisión. Conocimos mucho sobre los templos visitados, Marine nos aconsejó para el poco tiempo que nos quedaba en la ciudad. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour with Marine. Apart from the very interesting historical information Marine shared with us, she also answered all of our questions about Chinese culture, customs and where to eat in Shanghai.
