While my career as a teacher took me all over the world—from the highlands of Kenya to classrooms in Thailand, Cambodia, and Morocco—my heart has always remained anchored to the cliffs of North Cornwall. My family’s story here stretches back to the 1930s, and I’ve spent the last decade living right at the top of the hill in New Polzeath. With a degree in Psychology from Durham University and a lifelong passion for local heritage (backed by my work as an early photographer for the British Library's Geograph Project), my walks are designed to be much more than a simple stroll. When you walk with me, you aren't just visiting Cornwall—you're stepping into its story. Whether we are unearthing high-society secrets, tracking the footsteps of poets like John Betjeman and Thomas Hardy, or discovering where Carl Jung held his famous seminars in 1923, I love bringing the hidden layers of this coastline to life. Fun fact: When I’m not guiding coastal paths, you’ll often find me down on Polzeath Beach creating massive geometric sand mandalas and sacred geometry—proving that the best art is the kind that washes away with the tide!
