Originally a translator by trade, my passion for history and culture made me decide to widen my skills and become a tour guide. I am passionate about Asturias which, despite possible appearances to the contrary, is actually where I am from. Tom was very informative and a local to Aviles. He took us through the history of Avilés and showed us all of the interesting sights. We were left with enthusiasm about the city and a list places that we wanted to revisit. I would recommend this tour on your first day or even if you only have a couple hours as it is definitely worth it.
