Originally a translator by trade, my passion for history and culture made me decide to widen my skills and become a tour guide. I am passionate about Asturias which, despite possible appearances to the contrary, is actually where I am from. I love showing people around my home and helping them discover its history, people and traditions. Showing people from around the world my little piece of the “natural paradise” that is Asturias is truly a passion of mine.
Oviedo was something of a surprise package for me ,it's a wonderful city with lots interesting history, buildings ,statues and modern sculptures. Tom provided alot of insightful information and kept the tour interesting throughout.
We had a great time on this tour! Tom is very knowledgeable and shared historical knowledge as well as traditional folklore and interesting facts of the City, the culture and its history. Tom was great at engaging the crowd and pointing out great locations to visit. Highly recommend!!!
