This tour is a must if you want to understand about life for many Nairobi citizens. Luke is very personable and will explain anything asked. The places visited could not be experienced without a guide who knows their way around
We wanted to see Nairobi beyond the hotels, restaurants and Ubers that are usually displayed for the tourists. This tour was a once in a lifetime experience for us to visit the largest slum in Africa and to learn, with humbleness and 0 judgements, how people live there. Luke and his friend were great guides, very knowledgable, open to talk and to answer our (multitude of 😅) questions, and to make us feel safe in every moment. 100% recommended! ✌️
Luke and Vincent were excellent Tour Guide! Their tour is eye-opening, educational and informative! They take you through the Kiebera slums in a way that’s very safe. You’ll see a different side of the slums that you didn’t know about! I highly recommend this tour to anybody who wants to experience the little known part of Nairobi! Highly recommended!
Beyond visiting the places mentioned above, Luke was very helpful and friendly. The tour was not just informative but heart warming, getting to know the circumstances of Kibera and his social work. Do bring some gifts ahead for the orphanage and a single mom raising her family. I do hope more tourism can help elevate the poor from the slum and great work and resilience demonstrated by Luke.
