Wellcome everybody! I'm Gerson, I'm 37 years old and I live in Granada since 10 years ago. I studied History at the University of Valencia and I work as a public teacher in a high school the majority of my time; and I've studied Granada's history during the last 10 years.
Gerson was incredibly enthusiastic and well informed about the local area. We took we learnt and found it useful when visiting the Alhambra Palace. We also visited other recommendations and were pleasantly surprised. Overall very interesting and informative walk. Thoroughly enjoyed.
I was surprised and really impressed by in-dept information and also surprised information that we never know before. Super entertaining, and exciting tour.
Gerson is a passionate guide sharing so many unknown historical facts that will literally blow your mind. There is no fluff, no stories about touristic restaurants or best places to drink. Just history of Iberian peninsula, history of Grenada, of powerful families governing the area. I wish I had such a great history teacher in school. Even though the tour might seem to be long, it is worth every single minute! Much recommended!
Gerson gave a very organized tour, moving us chronologically through time. He clearly knows and loves the subject material and wanted to share his knowledge. We learned a lot. Additionally, I want to mention that he ran (literally) a block to find us lost at the wrong meeting point and was very gracious about it. A great experience by a lovely man. Thank you.
