I am well aware with the culture, rituals and traditions of this city, the Spiritual capital of India, Varanasi!!
I assure you that you will have a great time and experience here!!
I mean its my fault for not canceling after the first 15min when after i clearly sad i domt want to see dying people he took me to a hospice with a lady sleeping on the ground and as he opened the door she woke up. I felt so horrible like so in appropriate as a tourist to come there. After this I tried to make clear what I want to see and what I saw already but again no real consideration so I saw everything again what I already did and listen to the same basic stories. And visited every shop Of his friend I feel when I was not pressured to buy but also kind of was. And here I am with all my cash gone and money spend over my budget and after I came home and opened the packed scarfs from him friend relative I don’t know I found out it’s one less than I picked but at this point I just want to have peace and forget about today totally. I was planning to keep one scarf but I guess I will just gift all of them so I don’t remember today. Disclaimer I did ended up Givin as a tour money my last 5 euros o Usually give more but it was my last cash I had and I am sure he will get some money from the sellers I spend money at as that’s how it usually works
This tour with Anant is highly recommended. Anant took us to special places and tells us about Hinduism in a fun way. Anant speaks good English, is patient and explains clearly. If you are in Varanasi, book your tour with Anant, then you will learn and see a lot of the city, the culture and Hinduism. The next day we made a morning boat trip with Anant on the Ganges, we can also recommend this trip. Anant thank you for sharing your knowledge and the fun tour.
We had a great time walking around Varanasi with Anant. He told us lots of information and spoke English very well. Only downside of the tour is the crazy traffic in this town, but of course Anant cannot do anything about this. Would recommend doing the tour if you want some information about the city! :)
The walk with Anant was really nice, he showed us great places especially some that you would not easily find out about on your own. The food we had was amazing and it was very helpful to learn where it’s best to eat. The pace seems a bit high still getting used to the hustle and bustle of the city but he always kept a good eye on us when we did not keep up. All in all an amazing experience and we would recommend for anyone who is in to eating (so basically everyone)!!
