I'm Barrie - I've lived in Lancaster for six years. Originally from London I'm well travelled and lived in SE Asia for a number of years. Now I've grown to be fascinated by the history of Lancaster - my adopted home. It has a tremendous past which I'd like to share with you. An ancient castle, a special national anthem, a prison which was second only to the Tower of London in executions, religious persecutions, slavery and industry - I'll show you the different sides of the City.
Barrie was full of information in the 3 hours 15 minutes of the tour. He could answer all the questions asked of him.
Very nice tour around Lancaster. I recommend it to everyone, even those with children. We took our 1 year old son in pram and was no a problem to go around, just few stairs on the way easy to pass. Barrie was great we learnd lots of interesting things about Lancaster. It was like private tour as was only us. 😁
