Martin says:
"In my career as a tour guide in Gdansk, I have guided thousands of people in a few hundred groups. Please join me as well."
I really enjoyed going with the group, even in a windy cold weather. We mainly spent time learning the history of the old town and main town, including the 5 gates, the newest bridge that rotates for the boat to pass, the St. Mary Basilica, Fahrenheit’s house and many other renaissance style building and landmarks. In the end we’re given the summary of everything we saw. Martin/ Marcin was really informative and entertaining. Definitely recommend this walking tour when you visit Gdansk.
Taking this tour on our first day in Gdansk was worthwhile. The tour helped us really appreciate our beautiful surroundings and we visited places we wouldn't have known about otherwise. It also helped us find our way around more easily. Our guide, a local, was very friendly, knowledgeable and fluent in English. Recommended!
I had a great time on the walking tour, even with the cold weather. The experience was a good mix of informative and entertaining, with fascinating tidbits of local history. Really appreciated the quick recap at the very end as well. Overall highly recommended!
