I’m Tefa! I love the experiences, I am passionate of languages and the exotic culture of Ecuador. I think experiences are more valuable than anything in a trip. Abseits der Kirchen etwas in die Kultur des Essens einzutauchen war sehr gut, Tefa hat eine tolle und super nette Tour auf die Beine gestellt. Absolute Empfehlung.
Estefania was an energetic and knowledgeable guide who was very engaging and had lots of fun surprises planned for us throughout the tour. She was also very adaptable to our group, and even helped us get a good price for Ecuador jerseys during the World Cup!
Seeing as how I love candies, chocolate, and ice cream - this tour seemed a good fit for me. And yes, we stopped at some shops and restaurants for tastings = very yummy. But the tour was more than eating. I learned a lot about the history of Quito, some historic buildings, and meanings behind gargoyles and crosses placed outside churches. Tefa also took us to a small grocery store that sold produce and said the shop owners don't rip off tourists here. Same price for all. We stopped to talk to an elderly lady on the sidewalk selling taxo fruit for about 15¢ each and I bought a few to eat later in my hotel. I also made a few purchases of candies and returned to the ice cream shop later to buy a cone. I highly recommend taking this tour.
What a fantastic tour! Nicole was awesome, so knowledgeable, full of interesting stories and local history, and her food recommendations were absolutely spot on. We had so much fun, learned a lot, and discovered some amazing places to eat along the way. 10/10 experience and would definitely recommend! Thanks for an unforgettable time Nicole! 😊🙌
