Ciao! My name is Frane (Francesco) — a licensed local tour guide in Split, Croatia, and a great admirer of Italian culture, art, and history.

I lived in Rome for five years, where I completely fell in love with la bella vita, art, and the spirit of the Eternal City. Italy became my second home — and it shaped how I tell stories about my own country, Croatia.

I also spent a year in the United States as an exchange student, where I perfected my English and discovered how to share history in a fun, engaging, and easy-to-understand way.

Since 2006, I’ve been guiding guests from all over the world — working with major travel companies such as TUI, Alpitour, Atlas, Viking Cruises, Celebrity Constellation, and Abercrombie & Kent.

Today, I run my own company — Luxuria Tempus, specialized in tailor-made private tours in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
