I am a Ph.D. title candidate in Anthropology who has been to around 75 countries. I am passionate about meeting people from different countries and backgrounds. I am also an experienced tour guide who has done over 1,000 tours in Portugal, some 300 in Brazil as well as another 300 in Thailand (the country which was the subject of my doctoral thesis).
While I am skilled in History, I also have a strong bohemian part of my personality, thus I enjoy showing my clients the best bars and restaurant to attend in the city.
In my tours, I prize that the clients will get both a general knowledge of the History of Lisbon or the cuisine of Rio and local tips on how to enjoy their time in the city.

The tour was interesting, the guide told a lot about the history. He ordered a variety of local dishes for us to try in restaurants. In the end, he made sure to split the price of the bill among everyone in the group. He also told the characteristics of the dish and its origin. It was fun, the choice of food was great, the guide was communicative.
We had a fantastic time, Eduardo has in depth knowledge together with an insider/local touch. We were unfortunate in that many of the people who booked did not come and we were caught in rain which limited the range of foods we could try (we ended up taking home a huge bag of leftovers) but he really went out of his way to make sure our experience was special. We especially enjoyed the visit to the island which we would never have been able to navigate ourselves. We really enjoyed it thank you so much!
This tour was exceptional — I can’t recommend it highly enough. The tour guide (I’m so sorry I’ve forgotten his name) was incredibly informative and couldn’t have done more to ensure we had a fantastic experience. He was relaxed, friendly, and welcoming, and no question was ever too small. We visited several places to try traditional Brazilian food, all of which was outstanding and excellent value. It felt like we sampled every kind of Brazilian cuisine, and the explanations of what we were eating made the experience even better. We also took a boat trip over to the islands, which would have been extremely difficult to navigate on your own. Our guide shared fascinating information about the islands as well as Brazilian history throughout the day, which really brought everything to life. Overall, an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of my trip.
