I am a lifelong traveler, a Canadian born in Europe, with a passion for history, biographical data, and archaeology; attracted to authentic travel experience and will offer information based on your area of interest. French spoken without hesitation...I enjoy accommodating smaller groups, there is no rush on my tour (e.g. families, individual and,or retired people are all welcome). To compensate, I am willing to stay with the tour longer
I had taken this walking tour with Ed during my short visit to Ottawa in early September. It was a wonderful sunlit day and Ed appeared much before time at Nation Art gallery. He came with a magnanimous smile which always boosts our spirits when we needed it most. He kept us engaging all through the walking tour. There was not a single boring moment. His consistent positive attitude has made a huge difference in the tour. Thank you for your positivity. Ed showed us the different historical places focusing core Parliament area with amazing story telling fashion and enveloped with lots of history. He was also carrying a book to show the picture to relate that historical landmark during the past and present. He guided the tour with a smile and an eagerness to explore the city with enormous enthusiasm. We are grateful for that. Reliability is hard to come by. Thank you for being someone we can always count on! I’m so grateful for all your hard work during this walking tour. His attention to detail and meticulousness in his work are unmatched. It’s rare to come across people who are so dedicated and trustworthy. Thank you for your unwavering commitment towards this tour. We are grateful for your valuable expertise and the unique perspective you bring to this walking tour. Ed also suggested what are the interesting events happening now in Ottawa, which days we can visit the three astonishing museums in Ottawa free of charge etc.. He also joined us when we visited National Nation Art gallery on a Thursday to guide us the must-see arts within the gallery and also the Church!. Without his help this Church within the Nation Art gallery would have been un-noticed for me. All his efforts have not gone unnoticed. My words can never be enough to praise his actions; the work and effort he puts in in a walking tour exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Ed!"
