My name is Marco and I am a local in Dubrovnik. My passion is history and wine. I am a licensed and experienced local guide and will do my best to make your day and your entire stay in our beautiful city more enjoyable. Also, I can provide many local tips and tricks on how to survive in this massive tourist spot like Dubrovnik Old Town.
Marco offers a lot of energy to his presentation without being particularly well thought out in the direction of his stories. His pace was erratic, his structure often uncohesive and he created an atmosphere that left little room for anybody but himself to talk in. Whilst I wouldn't recommend him as tour guide, I wish him well in his commitment to his passion.
The tour was a fantastic intro to Dubrovnik. Taking teenagers on holiday can be challenging but they thoroughly enjoyed it and commented on how interesting it was. Our tour guide was just lovely, knowledgeable and good fun.
Romana was replacing Marko but she was EXCELLENT! 5* all the way :-) … just a minor suggestion for improvement: spice up your narrative with more references to GOT
Marco was very informative and had a good sense of humour.
