Dear Paul, you advise "less information" and "more interesting", but that is de facto a contradiction because "more interesting" can hardly mean "less information", it actually means less serious stuff (history) and more "fun facts". The tour was delivered as per its description, and the description, inter alia, says: "if you prefer 'fun facts' over deeper understanding of the history, please don't book this tour". As a local patriot whose father fought for this country, I feel obligated to give not "less information" to our visitors, as you demand, but actually more information. If that information is not too interesting (not "entertaining" enough) that's because I cannot change the history I feel obligated to pass on. If you were too exhausted already, maybe this wasn't the best option for you, but many thanks for joining, especially sine it was such a hot day, and thank you for a generous tip.
