HI! I’m António and my "alter ego" is TonyWalker. I am a Regional Guide-Interpreter, certified by the Lisbon's School of Hospitality and Tourism (Turismo de Portugal). I’m well-acquainted with Aveiro, where I have been living for decades. I´m a former IT teacher with a Bachelors in New Information Technology and a master’s degree on IT Teaching Practices. I lived in France and the Netherlands during my youth. Besides Portuguese, I’m fluent in French, English and Spanish. I will be happy sharing my experiences with you.
Antonio fue un guía excepcional, nos enseño muchos rincones de Aveiro y además fue muy simpático y agradable con nosotras, el tour fue mucho más completo de lo que esperamos y además nos recomendó un restaurante local para comer maravilloso, nos acompaño hasta la misma puerta. I was happy that the small turn out didnt result in a cancellation, and Antonio graciously and enthusiasticly gave us a lovely personalized tour of beautiful Aveiro. Very informative.
António has a fun sense of humor & wealth of information about Aveiro. We learned about the history, the architecture, the rulers, the church, the tiles… we have a much better impression of Aveiro today than walking around on own yesterday. We highly recommend taking a tour with António!
