Ghent Food Tour

We had a fabulous time and learned a lot about Ghent! I was incredibly pleasantly surprised that the fries on the walk had a vegetarian option. I was afraid that I was going to miss out but really happy I didn't!

This is a great tour. Highly recommend. Hamraz was a great and informative tour guide. She was wonderful and engaging. This tour had a great selection of free samples to introduce you to all the must tries of Belgian food from fries to waffles to chocolate and more. Feel like in less than 2 hours we were able to try everything.

It was excellent! Great foodie choices

This tour was ok. It advertised waffles, fries, chocolate and beer but there was no beer tasting. …only a coupon for a small glass at a brewery farther away. Disappointing.

David was quite knowledgeable in both food and the history of the city. He imparted tidbits of information in many areas. Would recommend taking the tour with him.

Excellent & plenty of food to try.

The tasting tour was great. The places we visited offered samples to try (waffles, chocolate, fries, eggnog, mustard) and in the end we received the discount codes which could be used in the places we visited and also in some other shops/bars.

It was a great tour. For the first time my 18yo daughter enjoyed a tour. There was a great mix of history gastronomy and entertaining information to keep us looking forward to the next tasting. We also met a family from the US and ended up getting a beer with them at the end of the tour. So fun

We enjoyed the tour. Places our guide brought us to and quality of produce was very good. We went onto visit The Gruut Brewery for a beer and also had more Belgian fries later on

We had a great time on the food tasting experience. Went to several places to get free food and it was all delicious! We had a piece of chocolate, a small waffle, some mustard, eggnog, Arabic gum candy and Belgian fries. Onur was a great tour guide and we learned something about each of those foods.

Definitely a fun way to get a taste of the city

Great tour! I learned so much about the history of food in Ghent and Belgium. The guide was also a practiced and incredible story teller. I also loved the ficus on support small local place.

We loved this tour. The guide really plunged us into the culinary culture of Gantes. I would recommend it 100% if you ever visit this city. It was really a great experience

Fun and yummy tour We really enjoyed this tour. Walked along historic places, listened to interesting anecdotes and facts related the famous Belgian foods, like waffles, chocolate, cuberdon, Belgian fries and bear. And the crown on the experience was tasting the food. Thank you GuruWalk!
