A fantastic experience
We were fortunate as August is slow so we ended up with a private tour. Harold is a native to Antigua and could speak to experiences with Earthquakes and growing up here. His pride in his city comes through, but he also has been to over 70 countries so brings that worldly perspective as well. Everyone in the town seems to know him which gave Antigua a small town feel. We appreciated the recommendations and wished he’d had a list we could have taken a picture of as there was so much.
I waited for the guide till 9:35am. He did not turn up and I got an message for cancellation.
Harold was an awesome tour guide! He was friendly and engaging and gave us some really great suggestions on places to see this week. It was a great way to get acclimate with the city!
