Interesting tour showing the highlights and stories of the war. We also had a lesson of how to make egg coffee.
This was a nice walking tour on my first day in HCM.The tour guide told us a lot about Vietnam history but in a fun way Appreciate also the toilet stop halfway the tour 😃
Here's what the guide did: 1. Invited us to drink some opium potion. 2. Took us to a coffee shop that had a giant banner on the wall reading "Fuck, who doesn't love my house?" 3. Invited us to smoke tobacco out of a giant bong. I was feeling dizzy and didn't need to attend a frat party, which is what it reminded me of. So I left.
Absolutely loved it. Thomas was interested, engaged, enthusiastic. It was an immersive history tour brought alive By standing on street corners and in front of buildings where 150 years of history was brought to life.
Great experience, definitely recommend the tour!
