Ben’s tour guiding is mainly anecdotes, gossip and his personal opinions. He likes to focus on details like coat of arms, marble steps of houses or car plates without a wider historical perspective which makes his talking random and uninteresting. Instead Ben talks about a game of thrones but not about real history. Moreover, when starting off his tour he literally said: ““we” (as if he speaks for the Maltese) don’t want to have anything in common with Arabs and Arab culture.” So if you’re hoping to hear about some Arab - Muslim history of Malta or Mdina, don’t join Ben’s tour. Ben neither has a passion, nor knowledge to create a fascinating touring experience.
