Pailin - Guía turístico en Chiang Mai

Pailin is very knowledgeable, and makes every effort to connect with her participants by relating to them. She’s also very patient, taking time to share her knowledge about Thai history, culture, Buddhism and about life in general. She’s also generous, having bought cut fruits along the way for everyone to share. I thought that was a pretty nice gesture on her part!

Pailin knows so much about history and not just limited to Chiang Mai but she could relate and compare many things in the tour to other countries for perspective. We visited two temples where she showed us things like ringing the bells which I wouldn’t have otherwise done on my own and taught us a lot about Buddhism. It took me a little while to get used to her accent because she speaks quite fast but her English is otherwise very good and later on I had no problems. We didn’t visit any markets like it says in the description, but that would probably be better in a separate tour anyway because otherwise you’d need even longer. She gave lots of recommendations at the end for food and markets in town. It was a bit long but there‘s just lots to learn about. I really enjoyed the tour.

Pailin was a wonderful guide! She kept everyone engaged with her inside tips and info as well as jokes. She also spoke in Spanish for the Spanish visitors as she is learning the language. She was a adorable and caring guide. Bought everyone fruits at one point. At the end of the tour she gave us a whole laundry list of places they could visit for specific purposes that tourists usually look for. Highly recommend.

Pailin was excellent!! She was so knowledgeable and informative. We got a real sense of the city of Chiang Mai. Even though it was a big group, she was able to keep everyone together. It was 100% worthwhile.
