Stella and Elijah were amazing guides and awesome humans. They really show you the ins and outs of chocolate city, provide the history and entertain all questions. My companions and I felt safe during the entire tour and the locals that spoke to us were friendly (especially the childrend). I highly recommend their tour for people who want to really get a perspective of how some people are living in Kenya away from the typical tourist areas. I appreciate Stella and Elijah for their time and effort they put in to make this a worthwhile tour and for what they pour into their community. I highly recommend them for those interested in taking this tour.
Very interesting tour. Stella ans her Brother showed us Kibera and we have great memories from this Tour.
The tour provided a very interesting experience. Stella and her brother led the tour, they live in Kibera. We got a real insight into the lives of the locals. We received a lot of information during the tour, and they answered our questions honestly. We felt safe the entire time, they looked after us. According to them, the locals are not bothered by visitors, and indeed, we did not attract much attention, so being there was not uncomfortable. I can only encourage everyone to visit the chocolate city with Stella and her brother. We are still deeply affected by what we saw and heard there. Overall, one of the most important takeaways from our visit is worth seeing the strength of the tight-knit community.
