¡Hola!
I learned a lot about the Old Town Walls and Dubrovnik itself. It is worth taking this tour if you wish to take something from the experience of walking the Wall. Marko was amazing and he really knows his stuff. This combination of guided tour at the start and self-exploration for the rest works very well for this site since most of the historical tidbits are in the first half. Tip: Listen. There’s a quiz at the end. ;)
Marco was an exceptional tour guide who made our visit to Dubrovnik unforgettable. His extensive knowledge of the city's history was impressive, and he shared it in a way that was both entertaining and engaging. Marco's storytelling skills brought Dubrovnik's past to life, ensuring that even complex historical information was easy to understand and remember. He kept our group captivated throughout the tour, skillfully balancing facts with anecdotes that made the experience enjoyable. What stood out most was Marco's ability to connect with everyone in the group. He encouraged questions and interaction, making sure we all felt involved in the tour. His passion for Dubrovnik was evident, and it was contagious.
We often enjoy walking tours when visiting a new city. Marko was by some distance the best guide we have had ! Friendly, informative, entertaining and local to Dubrovnik! An absolute pleasure !
Marko made walking the walls a fun and an interesting experience testing me and my wife against our grown up kids as the tour progressed ,questions like how many canons ,how long had the city walls had been operating .There were many more but I have forgotten the hard facts .The most important fact was that we all had a good time and learnt the importance of the city in the pass and the canniness of its leaders. We did the tour in the late afternoon when the temperature was more bearable. Mark
