This was truly one of the best free tours I’ve ever joined. The walk was incredibly engaging and, just like the best experiences, it involved all the senses - we were not only seeing Lisbon, but also listening, tasting, and really feeling the atmosphere of the city. We explored the beautiful historic neighborhoods of Bairro Alto, Chiado, Baixa and Alfama, learning about the essential history of Portugal along the way, as well as many fun and surprising facts about Portuguese culture and daily life. There were also great viewpoints, practical tips for enjoying Lisbon, and of course the delicious pastel de nata tasting, which was a perfect touch. Our guide, Ines, was wonderful - charismatic, energetic and clearly passionate about what she does. She is truly the perfect person in the right place, making the tour both informative and fun from start to finish. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lisbon who wants to understand the city while also enjoying its flavors, stories and atmosphere.
