Maria is a wonderful guide with a pleasant friendly personality, she has great historical and cultural knowledge about Lisbon and Portugal. We explored the different areas of the city, which provided a great opportunity to be oriented for the rest of our stay in Lisbon. Maria shared great tips for dinning, Fado music and day trips out of Lisbon. We would highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Telma. We had a pretty big group(22 to start), but she handled it well. She provided a wealth of knowledge about the history and culture of Portugal, and specifically about Lisbon. Her tips and suggestions were very helpful.

The tour was absolutely fantastic and one of the highlights of my time in Lisbon. You can really feel her passion throughout the entire experience. Maria is pursuing a PhD focused on Fado music, which clearly reflects in her approach – she offers deep and insightful perspectives on Lisbon’s culture, history, and especially its musical heritage, all while keeping it engaging and easy to follow. During the tour, she even took us to try authentic pastel de nata and ginjinha liqueur from local vendors in Alfama, which made the experience even more special and authentic. As a wonderful bonus, after the tour she sent us a detailed guide with recommendations for trips and restaurants, which was truly outstanding and shows how much she cares about her guests.
