Great way to get an introduction to the old East Berlin. Itinerary took in the main sites of East Berlin. JR gave a good history of how the various events of the 20th century affected and shaped East Berlin, while stepping back further into the past if needed. JR also brought personal relevance by talking about his relationship to Berlin as an outsider.
