I joined this tour after doing Part 1 — and once again, it was outstanding. Clemens managed to cover two very complex topics — Vienna’s Jewish heritage and its connection to Hitler’s early years — with clarity, empathy, and just the right balance of facts and reflection. Clemens is a gifted storyteller: he connects places, people, and history in a way that makes you feel the city’s layers instead of just hearing dates. The route takes you through streets and places you’d probably never notice on your own, each with its own story of brilliance and tragedy. Despite the heavy subject, the tour never felt depressing — it was thoughtful, respectful, and deeply informative. I walked away with a much richer understanding of Vienna’s identity and contradictions. If you’ve already done Part 1, don’t hesitate — Part 2 completes the picture beautifully. Highly recommended!
Highly recommend taking the tour! You get an idea of what Vienna has to offer without being stuck with an outrageous price and a boring guide. Our guide was very funny and knowledgeable. 😁
It was wonderful to have such a knowledgeable and competent guide on this walk. Lucas showed us parts if Vienna we wouldn't have discovered otherwise. Serious topic treated with facts and compassion.
Fascinating tour with Lukas, who dealt with a sensitive subject respectfully. I particularly liked his own family's story re Hitler & both his grandparents. Well done for personalizing this tour, & thank you.
